It's funny that I still get it even though I'm working from home!
No matter how much I enjoy my job I always look forward to the weekend.
Time to switch off the computer and do what I want to do.
I wonder what it feels like when you retire? Is every day like a Friday?
I like to have things to look forward to. I also like to have things that I'm working towards or saving up for. And I also wonder what it would be like to win the Lottery and never have to save up for anything?
I'm not about to retire, and it's very unlikely that I'll win the Lottery, so I'm glad that I'm happy with my life the way it is!
So today I'm looking forward to our home cooked fish and chips, and putting my feet up and falling asleep in front of the TV. What an exciting life, hee hee.
I'm currently working on ideas for our groups for the next 6 months, so please let me know if there's something you'd like to do.
Intergenerational work is something that's been planned for a while, and I'm looking forward to getting that up and running, hopefully with the local Primary School, after the Summer holidays.
It's great to read about Intergenerational work around the world -
And here's another wee video showing you how to stop your glasses steaming up when you're wearing a mask -
Whatever you do at the weekend I hope you have a good one.
See you on Monday.
